The Young Professionals Committee provides networking opportunities to area young professionals, educating them through various speakers and workshops. The YPC also provides an outlet for young professionals to give back to the community, and develop a core of young leaders committed to growing the Huntington region.

Marshall Hall of Fame Café
Please join us for a networking event/monthly meeting at Marshall Hall of Fame Café. YPC will provide light appetizers and you are encouraged to invite friends or co-workers who are interested in joining YPC. No RSVP is necessary. Be sure to bring business cards to exchange. During a brief membership update we will highlight upcoming YPC events and share recent news from our group. Generation WV Day at the Legislature is Thursday, February 16th!
Join more than 50 young professionals from across the Mountain State at the State Capitol Complex for a day of leadership training, legislative education and networking. In its third year, Generation West Virginia Day at the Legislature is designed to showcase West Virginia’s young talent and engage Generation West Virginia members in policymaking. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with their legislators to explain what key issues are important to them this legislative session. The Networking Committee is ready to start planning activities and events for 2012 for YPC members and we want you to be involved! MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
We are planning activities and events for 2012 for YPC and we want you to be involved! Please join April Tooley (april.tooley@nmfn.com) on the YPC’s Membership Subcommittee as we plan for our group this year. The membership subcommittee coordinates/plans meetings and ideas for maintaining a strong YPC membership and attracting new members to YPC. We would love to have your participation in maintaining and growing a strong YPC for our great Huntington Area!
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
We are planning activities and events for 2012 for YPC and we want you to be involved. Please join Matt Lockhart (mlockhart@huddlestonbolen.com) on the YPC’s Community Development subcommittee as we plan for our group this year. The Community Development subcommittee coordinates/plans community and serve-oriented projects and we would like to have your participation.

The Communications Committee is gearing up for 2012 and we want you to be involved. Please join Chris Wallace on the YPC's Communications subcommittee. The communications committee has several projects in store such as rebranding efforts, better utilization of social media, as well as a major update to the website.
